A. iPhone recovery mode.
- Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, leave the other end connected to your Mac/PC
- Launch iTunes
- Press and hold the home and Power button (on the top of the iPhone) to turn off the device
- Press and continue to hold the Home button while you reconnect the USB cable to your iPhone, the iPhone to turns on
- Continue to hold the Home button until the alert message appears “iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.”
Now restore the device:
This will wipe all songs, pictures, files, settings, and apps from the iPhone, passcode included. When the restore is finished, the iPhone will be at factory settings. Now restore the phone from your backup.
Thank you to osxdaily.com for this tip.
By the way. Put your phone in a case. The thing is made of half GLASS. Yes we have less repairs when you do. But you lose less $ & time. We stock stout cases folks. Some even Waterproof your device. Before we carry and stand behind a product, we test every bit of functionality. Pretty hard actually.
You know, waterfalls and wallrides. FUN. outside.
In case you havn’t gotten in on the case tip yet, or your case proved inadequate.
A quick thought.. Have you seen the newest shots of the 5? Here they are & what we think of them.
